The Cottage

    Kitchen

    Original Welsh flagstone flooring meet rustic wooden furniture. Our aga has fuelled the family for decades. The perfect spot for group gatherings and communal meals.

    Main bedroom

    The main bedroom has a double bed and far reaching views out across the private valley. Bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers for your clothes.

    The heart of the home

    The Aga in the kitchen was our only source of heat when we first took over the cottage. Now there are modern radiators throughout.

    The Snug

    A cosy corner of the house where a wood burner and sofa will invite you in to snuggle down with a book and let the hours pass by.

    Dining Room / Kitchen

    Our open plan main living area is the heart of the home and has been the backdrop to hours of laughter and connection around the dining table. The views over the valley here are breathtaking.

    The fireplace

    Central to the main living space the fire brings a warmth to the cottage all year round. We love cooking on the original stove and cosying in with a good book.

  • The Snug

    Dogs need a nap too right! The snug is the perfect spot to finish that book you’ve been meaning to, or dive into our nostalgic collection of DVDs.`That really is as hi tech as the cottage gets.

  • Second Bedroom

    The second bedroom actually started its life as the childrens’ room, but we soon realised those views were wasted on them!

  • The Childrens Bedroom

    At the back of the house the children have a bunk bed room and loads of toys and games to play with. There is also a spare mattress to go on the floor if a camping style vibe is what you’re / they’re after

Adventure

From the mountain top to the canal, to the rolling hills and the meandering rivers, Abergavenny, Blorenge and the Brecon Beacons have a plethora of adventures to discover. We own a family of restaurants in Bristol and have spent years seeking out the best food and drink in the area. While nothing beats a home cooked meal overlooking the valley - we’ve listed our recommendations for you.
